Sales Manager, North America - Safety Technology Mfgr
Do you have experience selling portable or fixed gas detection technology Do you have experience selling continuous emissions monitoring systems Do you have experience selling process control technology to industrial users Do you have experience selling safety related technology to industrial and municipalities Do you have experience selling to industrial and municipalities around the Gulf Coast
Do you have sales management experience Have you managed a sales office Have you managed direct sales representatives Have you established a manufacturer’s rep network Do you have experience working with stocking distributors Do you have experience finding and recruiting new stocking distributors

Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Develop a manufacturer’s network to selling technical capital equipment to industrial user
Evaluate and recruit stocking distributors for technical portable safety technology
Develop and support the direct sales representatives
Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and other thought leaders bodies
Skills and Experience
4 year undergraduate degree in a technical discipline or business related degree
5+ years of sales management experience of multiple sales channels; direct sales force, manufacturer’s representatives and/or stocking distributors
5+ years of technical sales experience of gas detection, process monitoring, CEMS or related technology to industrial users
Experience effectively managing P&L responsibility is preferred
Effective mastery of consultative sales processes
A verifiable track record of achieving sales goals
Excellent organizational and planning skills
Willingness to travel extensively in support of the duties
